Winter is here!

December 18, 2023

Weather forecasters call December 1 the start of "meteorological" winter.  The calendar and winter solstice say winter officially begins December 21.  Either way, the season is here or very close!

So far, we have had mild conditions, but at some point that will almost certainly change.  For the next 3+ months we can expect the possibility of snow, ice, and extreme cold.
